The most nerve-wracking aspect when browsing and downloading files at the same time is that you have to wait to complete both tasks. DownTango will help you getting this issue straight by optimizing the bandwidth and decreasing the time spent waiting for the downloads to finish.
Almost every browser already comes with a built-in download manager, but there might be times when you require advanced settings, like the ones offered by DownTango. You can decide the maximum threads per file, enable clipboard monitoring, authorize web browser integration and many other.
On the homepage of the developer it is stated that you can control your download even when you're not at the computer. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any information referring to how to create my own DownTango account or control my downloads as the program didn't give me access to a help manual. Also, these details were also missing on the homepage of the application.
If you ask me, it's not a drastic download speed improvement after using DownTango. My guess is that the application is still under development as some of its functions weren't working correctly. For example, you can't create the account that is supposed to allow you to control your downloads from any other computer and the browser integration function will only work for Mozilla Firefox.
